My two main themes will Educations through the Lens of ethnicity in a way which this is not equal.
The other theme is Employment which more men are employed rather than women but women are also as capable.

Gender:
I think I've decided to do gender equality within nz. my main idea is the fact that theres jobs that society sees as a "woman's" job or a "man's" job and i want to show that why cant we all be equal and not stereotype the jobs considered as a man or woman job because this is why people are separated and unequal because we put ourselves in categories. I want to show the idea that women can do as well at things men are good at doing and the other way around.
RESEARCH:
Through my research I have discovered some statistics with female and male within the workforce and also in importance of male within pacific island communities. 99% of the construction sex are male, also 30% of female are in parliament and more of other jobs and roles are basically male.

Text is good, imagery needs to be fixed so that it is easy to recognise that it is a male nurse. fix the hat.

if Image displays gender equality, a symmetry composition will be more effective.
However an asymmetric composition will indicate the opposite from what the image displays. In other words will reflect the reality that the gender equality is acknowledged but not a reality which could be a more stronger narrative.

Has allot of potential. image indicates stereo types of islanders dropping out, needsNZ context though, therefore NZ Polynesian stereo types will enhance effectiveness. E.g add rugby ball, island rugby.

This poster I'm trying to portray the idea of having a woman or a lady priest in the pacific as church is very important in within pacific island communities in New Zealand and also within pacific nations. The tradition of having men to be bishops or priests has always been in place but the idea that i have chosen is to why not have a woman priest? and it is time to break through that tradition. Everyones equal so why are women seem to be lower than men within pacific communities. Aren't we all the same in Gods eyes?
exploring different styes adding bible scriptures in the silhouette of a woman meaning they are strong in christ but I just need to figure out a way to show that they are not as appreciated within churches as people may think. Also I need to find an idea to show that it is New Zealand.
One of my other ideas is using the church to show my subject and the red paint across the door frame which represent being saved so Ive decided to try out the 'Bro Town' look or the style of its characters and the landscape. not shown in this image, it was just an idea.
Using the landscape in these images might give the idea that these posters are based in New Zealand .

This is another style I will be aiming for, I want to work with the faces for my posters but I just need to get some feedback on what I should do. having words in the face may give the image more meaning and expresses the idea of the poster more.
Our critique today we i got the feedback that i should make my images inside my poster alot bigger and out of the page to make it more powerful and have more meaning. Also play around with colour and the structure.

I got some feedback today and i need to work on my second poster because my second poster really doesnt work. the words in the face looks more like a horror poster.
In developing this poster i got feedback that i need to zoom in and also im gonna use the parchment font as they use to use it to stylise the old bible. \
just taking the first letter and stylise it , then the rest of the letters will be normal. Itll be cool to make it work with the history of the bibles and i would stylise the first letter of my title, "WHY NOT".
Ive decided to change my second poster into this kinda style. and use a strong tagline.
I think the strongest bit of this poster is the colours on the windows but i dont think it needs all the words and statements on it.
though all these are quite interesting, the old english type does not really work because my poster is more about modern society churches.
